In a recent update, Google has introduced Parent and Guardian Summaries, and option where Google Classroom users can add parent/guardian email address to their students. See below example of the summary.
While this feature is in Beta, please submit a support ticket to have your account enabled. Once enabled, the basic workflow is as follows:
- In one of your Google Classroom classes, click the Students tab
- Hover over one of your students to see the “Invite Guardians” option
- Type (or paste) in the desired email address
- The guardian will receive an invitation email and, once accepted, they’ll receive the summaries
